Silvermane is a Greenville, South Carolina based quartet with roots in indie rock, post-punk, and alt-pop. Founded in 2012 by guitarist and vocalist Bobby Nicholson, he used Craigslist to enlist bassist Elliot Eichler, drummer Joey Holtzclaw, and guitarist Josh Stegall into the fold.
Their self-titled debut EP was released in 2014, displaying the band’s knack for moody, elliptical instrumentations sprinkled with Nicholson’s clever and cathartic lyrics focused on friendship, mortality, and self-doubt.
Silvermane wasted little time attracting local attention and honing their craft in Greenville’s music scene, before expanding their footprint across the Southeast into historic markets like Charlotte, Columbia, and Asheville.
The band has continued their recent rise with supporting slots alongside nationally and regionally-acclaimed acts like Islander, Madre Padre, Superbob, Art Contest, and Grown Up Avenger Stuff,. With their momentum at an all-time high, the group is poised to reach even greater heights in 2016.
